Would I recommend Van's Country Table?... take a wild guess.
Roasted chicken and mashed potatoes were ok.
$8.99 got me 2 pieces of BBQ chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, fried apples, cottage cheese and pickled beets, and the best green beans I've ever tasted. The cornbread, however, was sub par. Excellent value for the price. Clean restrooms with a nice view. Country decor. Super friendly waitress. Great little place, open for breakfast, dinner and "supper". Wonderful homemade hummingbird cake and 8 varieties of pie. Ice cream too!

Great food. Everything tastes fresh. Prices were very reasonable.
Sorely disappointed. Green beans look and tasted like they came from a can, tomato slices on my wife's sandwich were thin and mushy, coleslaw was minced so finely that there was almost no crunch to it, and the cornbread was so dry, I couldn't put on enough butter (oh excuse me...margarine) to save it.
